The NPD Group has always been at the forefront of the beauty industry, and now the global provider of information and advisory services will expand its tracking to Germany.
This new service will track point-of-sale data covering both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar sales in prestige beauty retail. It will report on performance and trends dating back to January 2017, supported by the participation of the major retailers in Germany.
This expansion provides a unique opportunity for clients to get a thorough and complete view of the industry. With this new addition, NPD will deliver data and insights from eight key countries: France, the U.K., Italy, Spain, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and in April 2019—Germany.
To prepare for this important launch, The NPD Group is also expanding its team in Germany by onboarding talent with a thorough understanding of and background related to the prestige beauty industry and its challenges.
